Lately I’ve had conversations with several different business owners who run their own Facebook Pages.

Many like boosting posts and others run Facebook Ads 💪

Here I will cover a few differences between both options.

I don’t have a preference, I believe both can be effective depending on your goals.

Facebook ads offer many more options for advertisers than a boost and the type of ad you choose to use will depend on what the goal of your campaign is. These options include likes, clicks to website, app installs, app engagement, website conversions, event responses, offer claims, video views & local awareness. You can decide where in Facebook networks you 
want to display your ad. (Instagram, Messenger etc)
