Let’s talk a little about messaging 🗣

Here’s the thing, a lot of times we overthink how our product/service can help our clients.
We think a simple and effective message might be «we cut hair»
Tells our customers what we do. Great.⠀
But it doesn’t tell them how it will help them, nor does it tell them how it will help solve their internal problems.
Instead of thinking about how it can help them via features or the simplest form of what we offer, try understanding the clients' real pain points.
What keeps them up at night?
How can your product/service help ease their minds on a deeper level?
In this post, I dive a little bit on external & internal problems and how you can create simple effective messaging for your business.
There’s more to messaging than just these two points, but for the sake of keeping it simple—these are great starting points.
Let me know what you think in the comments! 💪
Are you Focusing on the External? Not the Internal?
What Do External & Internal Problems Even Look Like?
Let's pretend we are a hair styling biz.
External Problem Client May Face: My hair is out of style.
Internal problem client may face: Embarrassed, everyone always has nicer hair.
Give this a try…
Identify the Internal. Put it into words. Offer to resolve it, along with the External.
“Hair that will make them jealous.”
