Personalization. Personal touches, large and small, make a customer feel wanted and appreciated. And when customers are looking for a reason to stay loyal, that connection goes a long way. Anything "special" you can do to make your customer's experience easier, more personalized, and closer to your brand, the more it'll play into retention's emotional side. It's what customers expect from brands, and you need to have a strategy in place to deliver.
Chatbots. Configure a bot for any popular platform and see the results for yourself. It is a well-known fact that interactivity is the key to retaining customers once they've already engaged with your brand. Chatbots can send a birthday greeting or randomly check in with customers who have a previous record of shopping on your website. Use chatbots to keep them updated with deals and coupons on your website.
