Make Your Content Contagious ☣

I read… a lot.
I’m constantly trying to learn new ways to get attention in a very noisy place.
I read a book recently called contagious by @j1berger and the information was extremely helpful 👍
The fun part is experimenting with what I learn.
If it works I share it with you so hopefully, you can reap the rewards as well 🙌
Ever Wonder…What Drives Word of Mouth
and makes something GO VIRAL
There Are SIX Principles
But before I tell you what they are you need to know the meaning o two words
Stories, news, and information. Products and ideas, messages and videos.
Likely to spread. To diffuse from person to person via word of mouth and social influence. To be talked about shared or imitated.
You need to make people feel like they are “insiders.” People want things that others don’t have or can’t get.
You need your product or service to be triggered by everyday things. Peanut butter is a great trigger for….yup, jelly.
When we care we share. Contagious content evokes emotions. Excitement or anger.
Monkey see Monkey do. People love to imitate. Make your product or service observable and easy to imitate.
Is the content you’re putting out useful? People like to help others so give them something of value to share.
People love stories, not information. Think Trojan Horse. Give them something that makes a great story.
